Description Personal project I've been working on to understand light and skin better. I don't normally do realistic paintings but this was very fun and therapeutic I worked from 's lovely photo >> [link]

i really loved the back lighting on the hair and tones of this photo so i wanted to replicate it in my own style. I changed a few things such as the eyes and pucker of the lips. hope you enjoy!

Photoshop CS4, 3 hours
