Yawgmoth has been dead for an out-of-universe decade andΒ was never a planeswalker. Furthermore, they've directly stated that they will never print anything like that second ability; they'll have cards that you can cast or activate from exile, but they won't print a card that lets you retrieve a card of your choice. It also manages to make Yawgmoth's Will even more overpowered, which I didn't think was even possible, so good job there, I guess.

Considering Yawgmoth had the weird idea of having life that came from feeding on the decay and evolving from eating the previous generation, I would have done abilities of like:
+1 sacrifice a creature, put target creature form any opponent's graveyard into lay under your control
-1 put target creature from your graveyard into play
-4 add 1 black mana for every creature in all graveyards

Yawgmoth isn't a Planeswalker though.

Second ability should read 'Until end of turn, you may cast cards from exile', as per Misthollow Griffin. Going off of this, I'm going to assume that the 3rd ability should read 'Add B to your mana pool for each card in exile'.

I suggest adding the correct commas. (until end of turn COMMA), then it's amazing ^__^

Great concept. Definitely works thematically and it's pretty balanced. Doesn't seem like it's totally ridiculously over powered, which is a problem I see a lot with custom cards.

clarifying on the +1: does it affect ALL cards (all go to exile) or does it aggact the FIRST or generally ONE that can be chosen?

for 1st:
"until end of turn all cards that would be put into graveyard from anywhere get exiled instead"

for 2nd:
"until end of turn the next card that would be put into graveyard from anywhere gets exiled instead"

for 3rd:
"until end of turn decide for each card that would be put into graveyard from anywhere if it should get exiled instead. You may not exile more than one card in one turn that way."

Actually the way he has it worded is right for making all cards get exiled.

Example:
Leyline of the Void
"... If a card would be put into an opponent's graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead."
It makes it to any card an opponent plays gets exiled.

So wording it as he has it makes it to where any and all cards that would go to the graveyard that turn would get exiled.
