I DID IT IN TIIIIIIME---This is for my annual Fire Emblem-fanartthe Secret Santa event at , and my gift recipient is....!
! Merry late Christmas~ I really, really hope you like it, and i'm so terribly sorry I'm a bit late. I hope the quality of the picture makes up for the delay. ;w;Meibatsu listed several pairings I really love (Hector x Farina~ <333), but in the end I couldn't really come up with a nice couple pose, so I decided to instead draw her favourite character from her favourite game - Ira/Ayra from Fire Emblem 4! This was loads of fun to do.
I hope I didn't butcher the character all too much!As for symbolism - lilies stand for majesty, truth and honour, and I chose red ones to add to Ira's character, since as I read she is a very fierce swordswoman. The white dove flying away is supposed to symbolize that peace is not what Ira was made for.
... I hope that isn't too fatalistic for Christmas?

The colours you used are LOVELY Triah! This is seriously among the best submissions to the FESS event <3! I really adore the mood they create, it's so light! The colours on the background also really really add a lot to the picture, they fit very well.

XD Yes, I did look through your gallery and came across the picture you did for the big collab, and I had troubles deciding between the official FE4 design and the design on one of those FE-cards (?), so when I read the description, it did relieve me of a great decision. 8'D
Well, that is right, but it's supposed to be Christmas present after all, and I for one like turning in presents at exactly the right time though usually I'm uber late ahahahahah. ^^~ Thus, I do consider mine a bit late. But you're right of course, the deadline is in 2 days... x3
