This is my entry for the Opposites Contest [link]
I wanted to show difference between life and death, sorrow and happiness (if someone believes in Heaven). There are a lot of symbols in this piece but everything depends on your own interpretation. Hope you enjoy

Popieram tematy "z lustrem" w tle są takie creepy ... A tak na prawdę super, miło się to ogląda chociażby ze względu na to, że art jest DOPRACOWANY, nie wygląda jak sztucznie sklejonych kilka zdjęć, a i przesłanie jest jasne i pełne uczuć, szczególnie ta uciekająca dusza (kto wie czy nie wstepująca ). Przypomina mi trochę fragment z filmu "niekończąca sie opowieść" jeśli chodzi o tło - moment, kiedy główny bohater przechodzi przez lodowe lustro do innego wymiaru. Takie było moje pierwsze skojarzenie zanim przeczytałam opis pod spodem... I chyba niewiele odbiega od głównej myśli...

Dziekuje Ci za tak wyczerpujaca interpretacje ciesze sie, ze chcialo Ci sie poswiecic tyle uwagi tej pracy Co do kompozycji to rzeczywiscie trudno uzyskac efekt "jednolitosci" postaci z tlem. Naprawde trzeba poswiecic temu wiele pracy wiec dziekuje za slowo "dopracowany" to wielki komplement Co do interpretacji samej sceny to mysle, ze kazdy ma inne odczucia, sluszna jest z pewnoscia Twoja uwaga o przechodzeniu do innego wymiaru, dla mnie to lustro jest brama pomiedzy swiatem zywych a umarlych, symbolizuje rowniez smierc jak cos przez co kazdy czlowie musi przejsc aby potem moc wspiac sie po schodach i dotrzec do Nieba. W metaforyczny sposob chcialam ukazac, ze smierc nie jest koncem a jedynie "droga" do celu i choc sama w sobie jest smutna i tragiczna to jednak konieczna do osiagniecia prawdziwego Szczescia.

W metaforycznie -piękny- sposób, bym powiedziała Brawo, jak coś jest dobrze i ładnie zrobione to z przyjemnością poświęca się temu dłuższą chwilkę . Tak myślę że jest to dosyć alternatywny (wbrew pozorom) sposób przedstawienia śmierci, skoro raczej u wielu śmierć jest taka mHrooczna ... A ja znowu widzę szereg ładnie dobranych barw i większość pozytywnych myśli
