Please ignore everything wrong with this picture kthx.

So when I first head the contest details for 's June contest about "Light", the first thing that popped into my head was Rue/Kraehe. There was always so much affiliation with Rue and darkness throughout the whole series, but there was always a little bit of light in her, and it was great we finally got to see that in the end. So dramatic picture turned dramatic. And the blood? well the picture was very monotone, and I wanted to show off the darker side of the anime, and so I made kraehe bleed. My hand just had a mind of it's own there.

Technically speaking, this was a pretty easy picture, lots and lots of layers for skin tones and such. This is the 2nd picture I have done thats completely digital. I took various refrences for poses for this, but didnt use any one in particular, mosstly because none of them had an angle I really liked so I kind of just mashed them all together in my brain and it came out like this.

I cant say I honestly love Rue/Kraehe's charatcer as much as I love Ahiru and Fakir, but at least she ins't Mytho, and she's really fun to draw...not really to colour though, the amount of black in her character design is quite appalling. XD
