Cool Guys Don't Look At Explosions
Prize for for winning the first place in my Character Outfit Contest contest .
She asked me to draw Sally Acorn from Sonic Archie Comics. Personally I like the new direction from the comics and I really love Sally's new design created by BenBates

I love how she is more determined now to fight along side everyone else now. Back then, I still liked her! Her weapons fit her really well too! No wonder she's so awesome to not look back at explosions!!! She's epic!!!

And actually, I seem to remember quite a bit of early complaints about Amy's redesign by hard core Sonic fans (They are all quite a bit older now) I was in the middle generation, so my original introduction to old Amy was through the comics, where she had a bit more of a gradual change, not....oh, you won't see her for quite a few games, then 'Bam', she's back and looks different. XD
But, that is beside the point.

Well....when the first game came out that introduced her change, we were not yet quite as wired to the internet as we are now, so pockets of discussion were much smaller. I think it was just that a lot of people had grown up with her little cute design, and it took them a while to get used to an Amy that was so different.
Honestly, I think Amy changed way more then Sally did. Though.....I do agree with the idea that they are going over board on the obsession of have a bunch of characters that have nothing to hide needing to be fully clothed. For characters of this nature, I always think of clothing as being practical/decorative, but not generally /necessary/. And look what they did with Twan (not that I mind his new design), but Twan is wearing /less/ where Sally had to 'cover up'. Really....what does that say? Very few of the male characters in the series wear much in the way of clothing, but now all of the females need to be fully clad.

Sinceramente el nuevo diseño de Sally es muchísimo mejor, y que lo hayas dibujado queda perfecto jaja, mucha felicidades a la ganadora!!
Me encanta como le has dado el color, la iluminación es una pasada, lo que más me ha llamado la atención han sido las anillas de sus muñequeras, el color que le has dado me ha recordado como si fuera de cristal o algo así, y la sombra que proyecta, no se, pero me gusta jaja
Como hiciste la explosión? o.o Está perfecta
También me gusta el suelo, el reflejo que hace de Sally es muy realista, me encanta jajaja

Me alegra que pienses lo mismo de Sally, pienso que fue buena idea por parte de archie empezar de cero y hacer que toda la trama se centre en ella. Espero que después de todos los cambios la gente que la odiaba deje de hacerlo (al igual que con otros personajes oficiales, inclusive de SEGA)
Si, a mi también me gusta mucho efecto del brazalete, es hipnótico <>_<> y las chispitas XDD
Aunque te parezca una tontería, una de las cosas más fáciles del dibujo fueron los reflejos, es curioso como a veces tardas poco en hacer algo y es lo que mejor queda

Yo tampoco entiendo los comics pero disfrutas mucho viendo lo bien dibujado que está y los diseños tan lindos que tienen (cosa que antes no pasaba XDDD)
Para verlos basta con que te registres en SONIC SCANF y una vez allí buscas el aaprtado de Comis y "Sonic Universe", "Sonic Boom" y "Sonic The Hedghehog" (Eso si, tienes que irte a los últimos porque es cuando se hizo todo el tema del reboot XDD)
