Description This is my remake of a previous piece I did, featuring Jessica this time.
The previous one was one of my first real, proper scenes with DAZ Studio 3. This is done with 3ds Max and Vray.
This didn't take me particularly long to make. It took me more or less a week, of which finding a proper bedroom scene was probably the longest part of it all, with getting the duvet right running second.
I decided to include render times in my pieces from now on, just as an indicator of how long/fast 3ds Max and Vray renders. This render took particularly long, but that's mostly attributed to the frosted glass and the bed sheets, which has a silk material with a lot of blurred reflections.

Anyway, render time, at a resolution of 3840x2160, was 22 hours and 41 minutes.

Programs used:
DAZ Studio 4 for character and pose.
3ds Max 2012 for scene setup and render.
Autodesk Mudbox 2012 for the wrinkles on the bed sheet.

Download for full 1920x1080 view.

Could anyone maybe help me with something? How can I get a thumbnail of another deviation in my description instead of just the link to it? I want to place a thumbnail of the DAZ Studio render in the description.

the only thing you have to do is to write the thumb code displayed on the right (:thumb329568063.
Then press "Preview" button to check if it is shown as you want.
But... I think that you need a premium membership account to activate this feature.

I found the :thumb: code, but it doesn't display the thumbnail, only the code I used. I guess you do need a premium membership.
Thanks, though

You are welcome!
and please accept my congratulations for your work.
It was my mistake not to mention it first.
Btw, can you tell me where did you found this scene?
I am looking for a nice bedroom scene too.

Thank you very much. I found the bedroom as part of a pack on topgfx.com. I should mention that it's for 3ds Max only. It was in .max format. Although the site has stuff for DAZ/Poser as well, the bedroom was specifically for 3ds Max. What you could do, is open the .max file with 3ds Max and just export it as an obj to use in DAZ/Poser.
I mainly only use DAZ to pose my character, and everything else is 3ds Max, including backgrounds and props.

OK, thank you.
Unfortunately I don't use 3ds MAX.
