These SS must have been miss issued Army Jackets. SS wear their Kraut Eagles on the left arm above the armband. Army, and Air Force, and Navy wear their Eagles above the right upper pocket. Her Himmler might have some of them shot for being out of uniform.

The Indian volunteers in the Indisches Infanterie-Regiment 950 Waffen SS unit were issued Army Jackets. Maybe they might be forgiven if they had a supply issue. I am still sure that Her Himmler would at least chew them out for improper insignia.
