Fan art for L.M.S. by `DanLuVisiArt Finished this one in April, I think, and somehow I forgot to upload it... until now

She need more work, she's supposed to have a tattoo on her chest and a diamond necklace, but the diamond necklace was a pain in my ass so I left it out for now, and I couldn't really see the tattoo in the one picture Danny has posted in his gallery [link] I used Danny's tutorials, and I studied his work for a while because I wanted to make it as good as possible. There are still a few things I don't like, but I'm extremely satisfied with how it turned out, because I'm still pretty new to digital painting. And I'll eventually come back and finish it, maybe add some L.M.S style background.
I used a few photos for reference, the main one for the face was of Candice Accola (only for the overall look of the face, I wasn't aiming for actual resemblance, that's why there isn't any) brushes are Dan's [link] and Reid's [link]

If this is at all a WIP please consider removing the HA Deathhead. That symbol, although very cool and badass, is what the pimps and heroin pushers in my neighborhood wear on their backs. It more or less stands for the destruction of the poor and down trodden for the sake of greed.
I really love LMS and this fan art is top notch. Really good stuff and very true in style to the original. Great job. Hope it makes it into the reprint.

To be honest, I didn't even know the symbol was from HA, I only found out about it recently when someone asked Danny about it. But the original LMS character has it, so I just copied what I saw. I don't own the artbook yet, but from what I know about the character, I think she IS a part of the gang, so it makes sense that she has it.
Sorry if you dislike it. I don't support the conduct of HA myself, but it's LMS fanart, it's what the character looks like, I don't want to remove it.
I did this a while back before there was any talk of putting fanart in the reprint. Danny said he liked it, but I don't think there's any chance it will be in there, I think only some of the better quality works will have that pleasure. Plus I'm pretty new to digital art, I honestly don't think I deserve to be in it, as awesome as that would be

I didn't realize it was on the original. I do have the book so I will go look. Maybe I'll have to bug Danny about it. Really not that big a deal though. Thanks for the reply. I still thought your piece stood out amongst even the latest LMS fan art. keep it up because if you're new to this that's a pretty good start.
