i wasn't going to post these because they don't go with my typical style, and my full illustrations don't tend to do as well as my illustrations. but i love how these pictures turned out. i couldn't help but show them off
I was experimenting with brushes. found an inkwash brush that is super transparent and textured and works well with deeply inked drawings like these.
the brush worked really well for drawing deep under eye bags, as is super evident on Discord here. I love drawing eye bags on characters; it makes them seem that much more aged and realistic.
its largely the eyes that I'm fond of. most of my characters have larger, rounder eyes (per my style), so drawing such intense, scary gazes like this was a super fun change!
anyway, hope you enjoy them as much as I do XD
