And all I wanted after a quite exhausting late shift was to take a shower, to crash on my couch and a nice pizza, but mother nature had other plans for me that night.
I noticed an upcoming thunderstorm and thought "what if it's the last chance to get a photo of a lightning/ thunderstorm this year", packed my backpack and grabbed my bicycle. Fortunaly I trusted my gut feeling cos it seems it was right.

Thanks! Yeah it was an quite active year, and man I can't wait for the next.
The paper thing is actually a road marking. It's an arrow that points right, so in case you're in a overtaking manoeuvre it's time to go back into the lane, cos a blind spot lays ahead.

Really ? o: I dunno why, but i imagined it beeing aΒ triangular paper which stood up because it looked like a little shadow appearing from behind in the middle part of the arrow :'D The arrow markings are never marked in the mid part of a 1/1 file road where i live ^^

Yeah, as a child I was always fascinated but never scared of thunder storms and lightning strikes, and I still am. To be able to capture them on a photo was one of the reasons that brought me to photography.
