You're welcome. Though I must agree with JoeCorreia on being "RIGHT ON," but I understand where you're coming from.

Well, everytime I look at this photo, I think I should've moved a tad more to the left. Hence the title.

Well actually if it is OK to come in defense of your own work, I feel that the center of your image where the road curves and the lightning falls, coincides almost perfectly with the rule of thirds, or golden rule. So from that point of view couldn't be better. Also, if you move the camera further to the left, you could lose the tree that plays an importing framing role in the composition of the image.
If anything, at all would be the curvature caused by the wide lens that bends the vertical lines. While it is an accepted feature inherent to photography, it can be corrected with adobe and I wander if that would give the feeling of moving to the left without actually doing so and preserving your nice composition in this awesome and rare shot to get.

Yeah I fully agree composition wise. But this small part of the crash barrier that's between road and the viewer still bugs me. I know it's just a little detail, but sometimes I am a nitpicker haha.
Honestly I kinda like the natural distortion a wide angle (lens) gives, same for vignetting.
But all in all it's still one of my favorite shots I've taken. And even though being soaked to the bones, I had a big smile on my face while heading home.

My photojournalistic influence does live room for leniency on certain detail, so I am not so disturbed by it because the power of the story eclipses it. However, it is a vital part of being a progressive artist to have a strong self-critical eye! So, from that point of view I totally see and agree with what you say!
