Charcoal, tissue to smudge it and kneaded/charcoal eraser.
Try the new submission...It can get confusing at first.

Yay! Charcoal! And I never thought of using a tissue... I usually use me finger (since I'm left handed and my hand is already messy, who cares right?).

I use finger too, but tissue works on larger surfaces, and I don't have to care for moisture.
