Just do your best to do whatever non-illegal thing that comes to your mind!

Really. Not thinking about it unless it's dangerous/life-threatening, and just doing it, helps me. Maybe it'll work for you?

But if it's illegal... you might not want to do it.

Well, obviously. I don't want to get arrested just yet.

Actually, I'd be fine with never being arrested. I doubt that jail is very fun.

The whole not-controlling-almost-everything thing...I doubt I could deal with that.

Well, you could try many things, like:
Learning another lenguaje or how to play an instrument or a new drawing style.
Making comics or manga.
For movies I highly sugest "Red ridding hood", "Sucker Punch", "Harry Potter: deadly hollows" (I have more, but you said 'no horror').
In books, if you're into mistery there's Agatha Christie's "Murder on Orient Express" and "Death on the Nile" and many others; or if you like fantasy there's Michael Scott's "The Alchemyst" (again, 'no horror').
In manga/anime (in the case that you like that) I'd say to give "Angelic Layer", "Shugo Chara" and "Ouran High School Host Club" a chance, or browse here: [link]

Movies: Donnie Darko, the Dark Knight, Harry Potter, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Easy A, Tron, Percy Jackson
Books: Mortal Instruments, Hunger Games. Look through the teens' section of Barnes and Noble . com
Activities: Draw, try your hand at origami, find a few friends and try to break world records (I used to do this when I was little XD) , write a story

Well, I've watched and read Harry Potter and Percy Jackson, I've read Hunger Games (I heard they're making a movie!) But I'll try everything else!

I don't think they will, it's a pretty short book compared to other book-to-movie projects that've been done. Like Eragon, they had to cut out a lot because the movie would've been too long.

You asked for it.
There is the Eragon series, House of night, Guardians of G'hoole, the Fire within, the host, Bootleg(About chocolate, should have a choco bar on the frount).
Rangers apprentise, that's all I can think of. most of those are series, so you should have plenty to read.

I suggest find some sort of physical activity that you'll like and can perform at home (well, I'd rather say "things that you can do without special equipment").
Maybe, dancing? There are thousands of dancing programs on internet.

Hmm... the Darkest Powers trilogy is a great read if you're into mildly-scary things (It's nowhere near as bad as a Stephen King novel, trust me!)
The Summoning is the first,
The Awakening is the second,
and The Reckoning is the final, all by Kelley Armstrong. :'D They're awesome~

That is very sadface. Okay dress up like a hero and go around hugging people while running away and screaming "the waffles are done!"
