Oh my god, almost two days straight worth of work, on a computer that takes 15-20 minutes just to open, or save, a large file. This is actually my second entry into the WeLoveFine.com Jem and the Holograms Tee Design Contest.

Raya (Carmen Alonso), the drummer in later episodes, is probably my favorite Hologram. I love the episode 'Aztec Enchantment,' so I wanted to do an homage, being a latina, myself.

I plan on doing at least two more versions of this, with the same background, but with varying degrees of shading. I'm hoping to make one that is relatively realistic in the shading.

Note to self: Paths are an evil the likes of which you have never known, made up of redundancy, and much magnifying. That said, thank 'DC Comics' Guide to Digitally Drawing Comics' for the idea so that you could have that pretty background's lines. I doooo.

It's just a pin-up, so there's no real interaction with the background. She's missing a few things in this version, like her second necklace, and the studs on her gold armlet. The background would've been a bit more detailed, but I ran out of time. So, it is what it is, but I like how it turned out.

Edit: >_> And I just noticed there were a few layers there that weren't supposed to be visible. Ah well. Fixed that.
