Description

Going over some of the various characters in my story outline as far as Pantheon characters go.

I've talked about the "Furies", an all female bodyguard/assassin unit created by Eir.

Meet Alecto, the "The First Among Equals". She is the current commander of the Furies having recently taken command of the group after the death of their previous leader, Giselle (the lady whose head was shipped back to her lover in a box by David).

Though she is fanatically loyal to Pantheon, she is not happy with the current direction Pantheon has taken due to the ambitions of certain members of the organization. She was one of the few who did not support the sanction of Melissa Flynn refused the "honor" of killing a "traitor". Her actions earned her a black mark and prevented her from taking command five years later, allowing her rival (Giselle) to assume control.

However, recent events have seen a change in fortune. While she endured ridicule and constant challenges by her fellow Furies in the past, she has been praised for her foresight and was given the right to challenge for the fallen Giselle's position. She won in under forty-five seconds, gutting her challenger before beheading them.

Alecto, like all Furies, looks down on most men, believing them to be inferior, but some might reach some level of competence. The only exceptions to this biased opinion of hers are The Viceroy (who she views as an honorable warrior who fought many battles to attain his position) and, strangely, David Flynn (she saw the footage of David's battle with Giselle and was impressed with how he brutally destroyed Giselle).

Since taking command of the unit, she has faced three challenges (from Giselle's inner circle of friends) and she has killed each of them, sending a message to any of Giselle's remaining supporters that there is a new regime in charge and they can either accept it or risk the possibility of their heads being removed.

It should also be noted that she has a dislike for Deanna Brayce Jennings, a former member of the Furies who left their ranks to climb the corporate ladder at FIET.

Okay, as I said before, this is me fleshing out some more characters and Alecto is one of those characters who was kind of in the background but had the potential of being brought in as a supporting character...so here she is.

Full disclosure, her character design was kind of influenced from certain characters from the Black Panther movies and, of course, Mazikeen from the Lucifer series.
