Thank You for the compliment!!! The Bird is a Cardinal. The bright red ones are male and the darker, grey/red is a Female. They are plentiful in the eastern US.

nice looking cardinal - love these birds and they all seem so so different in there coloring - some redder than others ..

Oh they do vary from bird to bird! I also have a hard time getting the correct exposure! If one is not careful the black mask just has NO Detail! They are beautiful though!
