It seems that I have finally managed to get over my art block. So here's a new drawing.Somewhere around the beginning of 2014 I decided to create several gift drawings for people who I have interacted with the most here on dA and who I consider friends. Good idea, but if things will proceed as they are going right now, the last gift will be completed in the year 2020.
I really hope that will not be the case.
Anyway, the first drawing is for cubehero of his character Vigilance.
There were only waist up drawings of her, so I had to improvise with her lower body, sword and some other things. I hope you like how she came out.

I like your interpretation of her, I might use this as a bit of inspiration if I ever draw her in a full body picture.

It was about damn time, haha.
I don't think it's anything special, but i'm glad to hear that. Kind of hard to draw
someone else's character when you don't have a full body drawing for reference.

Yes, I can imagine - I think I'd feel pretty weird just coming up with a design for parts of someone else's character, but you did a good job!

Thank you! It did indeed feel kind of weird.
Initially I planned to draw just some greaves, but it would have looked strange compared to the fully covered top, so I decided to do the same with her lower armour. But again, nothing too heavy looking. Chainmail leggings seemed like a good idea.
I hope you're not against heels. I mean sure it's not very practical, but looks good and if she needs to move faster, she has wings.
That would certainly make me happy. As for what do draw, perhaps someone from my OCs that I sent you a little while back with a note? Or I can try to come up with something else if you want.
