These are all done so well and have the perfect balance of showing an older character but sticking to a style. They have good color variation too.
I should catch up with the show some time.Β

Yeah, it was a bit difficult with the older characters (and thankfully DSC has quite some charas with wrinkles).
It was a nice way of doodling and keeping my mind at ease (again troubles in the family here, so I'm a bit anxious).

I like Sylvia Tilly's costume in the Terran Empire.
And also make a montage showing the actors in the empire terran of all the startrek saga.

Well you worked quite hard on this my friend! I'm amazed ^^ Starek is still my fav <3
And sometimes, focussing on technique helps to cope with too strong emotions <3

It was very helpful mindwise. Cause it is always the same workflow (pencil, go over with ink brush 1px, outline with ink brush 1.8 px, block colouring only 2 or 3 colours) The only part where I had to think was in determining where the shadowy part in the face could be (and I'm not really good at that, still missing the imagination for that). I started with a few of them (in alphabetical order of the files with the ref photos on my hard drive), just to keep me busy and my mind in free-wheel. Then I found that I liked them ... and that my beloved Stamets is very late in the alphabet, so that I had to draw nearly everybody else to get to him as a "reward" Β
