I am done making my Frodo Cosplay (still need to style the wig though >.>)

The pants are done but I made them for the pants project in my sewing class so they are being graded right now >.>

The Cloak:
I seriously went through three different fabrics for the cloak just to get the perfect one.
I first started off with a pattern I got for 99cents because of the pattern sale at joanns. But then the way the pattern was set up would create seams, looking at Frodo's cloak, he does not have seams on his fabric, so I kind of made my own pattern based off that pattern so I wouldn't have seams in the cloak.

The Hood, I used the same pattern I used for my B.B. Hood and Skyrim Monk Cosplays (lol so many hooded cosplays). Just a pointed hood.

The Pants:
I used a dark brown cordaroy fabric, Just used a basic pant pattern and hemmed it to make them the length of Frodo's

The Vest:
Cordaroy brown fabric. I used a vest pattern for it (lol I got SHIT TON of patterns because of that sale woot)

The Shirt:
I combined two patterns to get the shirt right. One was like a pirate shirt pattern and the other was a basic woven shirt pattern. The sleeves were a bitch though. I gathered the sleeves and when attaching the cuffs it was just so much fabric that my sewing machine was not happy. Broke two needle >.<

The Backpack:
I was unsure of making the backpack because I didn't know if I would have time but I really wanted to make one because I didn't want to worry about carrying my purse or anything. It is made out of Vinyl. The backpack isn't 100% accurate to Frodo's because I was lazy, it was 1am, and I just wanted to finish so the backpack was kind of rushed. But I designed a backpack based off of his. I even made a pocket inside the backpack just for my phone to fit into XD So I don't have t worry about digging around in the bag for my phone.

I ordered a ring off ebay so it should be here soon I still need to figure out how to get my feet hairy XD If you have any ideas, please share!

I didn't make the sword because I didn't have time. But that is why I wanted to do the outfit he wears before and while he has the sword. So it would still be accurate XD

I am happy how this turned out I cannot wait to cosplay Frodo XD

I am debuting this at Matsuri Festival. (Japanese Festival in Arizona).
