What the heck is water, anyways?

H2O.
8 total electrons. Two bonding pairs and two lone pairs.
Molecular shape: BENT. Bond angle: 104.5 degrees.
Vital for the survival of man and all other living things on the planet Earth.

Water...
Agua.
Mizu.
Mool.

I don't have many thoughts on water. I drink water all the time, more than any other liquid. And yet, nothing in particular comes to mind when I think of water. Of course I think of rivers and mountains, our blue planet as a whole (those blue-marble pictures taken by satellites that are always included in nature documentaries xD), but I honestly couldn't think of anything that communicated my personal feelings about water.

And that is how I found out that
I don't.

I don't have any personal feelings toward water.

I honestly cannot think of anything at all that links me in any obscure way to that mysterious yet absurdly familiar substance.

I suppose one could call me an ingrate or a fool, but I have honestly not thought about water like this before.
I really thought about this for a long period of time, which is one of the reasons why my entry is so late.
This is actually my 4th serious try at an actual entry. xD Sigh.

I decided that you can't personify water. I wouldn't try to, I knew that from the start... If I had, I wouldn't have been true to myself nor to anyone else who views this deviation.
It's easy to draw mermaids and beautiful women in fantastic outfits, or even old wise women, but...

What is water but water? Water in itself is beautiful, but I tried drawing it and I decided that I needed more practice. xD

So, as a result, this girl is not water. She is me, looking at water for the first time.
I feel like I've come from a planet where water is a rare, magical thing.
It's an amazing substance even on this planet, but I don't think most people look at water the same way I do now.

I still don't know. What is water? What is it? I can't describe it! I can't draw it! It exists and is always present in my mind, but the subject of water is never on my mind.

Thank you, God, for making water. I know that I would never be able to do Your job, because water is creativity.

What are your thoughts on water?
