BelatedMERRY CHRISTMAS!!Secret Santa for ! Sorry it took so long, I've been up to my neck with so much Real Life stuff ughhhhh.
Elincia misses the days when she didn't have to spend every hour talking patiently to a bunch of idiots that would like nothing better than to see her dead. She misses the fresh air, the company of simple but kindly villagers, and coarse but tasty countryfare. So on one bright and sunny winter's day, she sneaks out, dragging along one somewhat-reluctant knight, who insists upon seeing to her protection. Geoffrey finds, a little to his surprise, that he enjoys the day out with his queen. Even though he looked a bit foolish because he has no idea how to tell the difference between a 'good' apple and a 'bad' one.
Please pardon the chicken scratch background. I was aiming for a nice, painterly feeling, but I think I failed. Badly.
