Well, regarding to aerith gainsborough, i also was thinking that she are candidate to severals lanterns corps: Green lantern, blue lantern, star saphire, indigo tribe.
Green lantern because aerith show be a strong willed girl that don't have fear to face dangers to protect to her friends and also she could keep a sweet and kind hearted personality despite to living in the midgar slurms, showing a great will power within her.
Blue lantern because when the situation was dire when sephiroth get the black materia and he prepare the destruction of gaia, aerith don't give up the hope and she come to the forgotten capital to summon the holy magic to save the world
Star saphire because aerith harbor a crush in zack and cloud, showing that she harbor a love by certain person
Indigo tribe because aerith is a compasioned girl that always feel mercy by the people, even to her enemies like tseng, the person that kidnapped her early in the ff7 story
But i have to admit that i don't think that she also was a candidate to be a black lantern, because everyone remember that she was killed by sephiroth, then her corpse could be used as a member of the black lantern corps. Saddly, in this case she will return as a new villain than be resurrected like the aerith that everyone knows

Also, i find ironic that aerith becames a black lantern, because considering that she was a kind hearted girl that wants to protect the lives of everyone and even she was ready to make the ultimate sacriface to save the world. But now as a black lantern, aerith will help to nekron to try to destroy and eliminate the life of the entire universe, forcing her to make the opposite objetive that she made it early before her demise.
Also i found heartbreaking to the reaction of cloud in this scene to confront to aerith as black lantern, i can see that cloud is so distraugh, because he never can forgive himself by be incapable of prevent her murder and now he must suffer more to see as his friend/love interest was resurrected as a mindless zombie that wants to destroy the life than protect it, this must be very painful to cloud as now he should fight her to stop aerith of destroy the lives of the universe.

I'd say this work of your's is well done, but if Aerith's going to be brought back to life by a lantern ring, I'd rather it be a white lantern ring.

I googled "Black Lantern Aerith" hoping to find something amazing. Needless to say, I was NOT disappointed. This is truly amazing, a wonderful mix of dark, creepy, yet beautiful. Truly amazing.
