Description Here's a shot of Indah's brother Bugarah. He weighs about 240 pounds which is pretty big for a male Sumatran Tiger at his age. He mostly spend his time in the spot shown in this picture during my visit resting, but I hope to catch him and Indah playing on film during a future visit. Taken at Fort Wayne Children's Zoo in Fort Wayne, Indiana on April 22nd, 2013.

240? Sounds like it wants to be a Siberian when it grows up! I'm jealous, cause at the riverbanks zoo the tigers were nowhere to be seen all 3 times we passed by the exhibit. Lazy cats. -_-

These are the smallest surviving tiger subspecies, but Bugara will be well within the typical weight range for an adult male within a few more years or two. Tigers have been pretty cooperative for me at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, especially for both Bugara and his sister Indah who he shares his exhibit with.

A big boy he is, more than double the weight and size of his sister.
