(ah... I apologize in advance for replying to this comment from you so late! (-it's almost been an entire Year since you wrote this TT^TT; *small sigh*) -it's been obvious that I've had several good reasons behind my absence, despite all that I wanted to get back to you much sooner on this (and on other things as well) and I did not...

-will this suffice from me as a proper response? ._.;)

-you said that I "put a lot of work" into this, and I say in return that I have not.

For starters, this is still unfinished after so much time has passed (that's so like me, after I lose steam with a work they end up sitting around or being abandoned... or just in some odd state of in-between {"dormancy" perhaps?} ) and I can and have spent longer on other works than this one (this has taken but a few hours)

-the reason behind why I call the line art for this piece "epic" is namely because you drew it and it is so burstingly-full of details!

When I make a line art, I tend to simplify things to make my work load less and the whole process easier (read that as: less Painful) -it amazes me that your art style and way of doing things is so unique and very different from mine (and it works you make so many interesting things- I have so many queries...)


Time queries aside... "what do you wonder, Wonder Cat?"

-I don't call or think of the original artwork and base for this piece as being "poorly drawn and executed" at all

in fact, I would say that of some of my own quick blobby sketches since I don't even check if they are as anatomically correct as they should be at times (this happens especially when I begin a new work and causes me so much trouble when I get further along... the errors stop me in my tracks at times since it seems that I can't make something from start to finish without having to rework and tweak the thing several times- ARRGH.)

-this has a good execution and composition to it (even if it is a bit busy~)


...lol, terribly often, I may take a long time to execute my works and actions (which is sad- it would be nice if I could get things done faster) even my own artwork and whatnot-

it doesn't matter too much to me how long ago something was started, I still want to work on, revisit, and finish such things (that sort of thing consumes my thoughts and attentions and efforts at times)...


Please don't be sad, I still have lots of time (and can spare more in the future) for my works and I'll be happy to finish the ones that are entirely my own (and older) as well as the others (collabs and newer pieces...) and my non-collabed pieces aren't necessarily "better" since they are self started from my initial concepts either...


*smile* Thank you for the compliments on my technique and inking style- I was going with the flow; at this point, the work is mostly just outlines here~ 'sides, this is fun <3


-it's not a shame that this (or other pieces) do not receive as much exposure and enjoyment on dA... good art is enjoyable and worth it even if no one else sees it- there's so much joy and alive-ness in the process of working it out and "creating" things~


Thank you for commenting- I would like it if you would do so again as a follow-up to these words of yours, but I don't expect you to be doing so any time soon since we both have quite a few responsiblities to take care of (Real-life monster EAT US!! D: ... ) so no worries, and if you ever do wish to do so, please take your time- I know that you don't like rushing and how that puts pressure and strain on you... (you did a good job with conveying your message to me <3 yay~ )
