They are both Malin's friends.

Fida is an elf warrior who was once a bodyguard to the Elven-king, but after the attack of Vanator the Pricolici, she went into exile, feeling responsible for the Elven-king nearly getting killed. She sought redemption, and found it after saving Malin from a Strigoi attack. Pip also has a crush on her, but he's afraid to tell her, though she seems aware of it.

Kamden is the younger cousin of the Dwarf-lord. He seeks glory and adventure, and doesn't know when to stop talking. It has made him arrogant. He is, nevertheless, a loyal friend to Malin and becomes a friendly rival to Fida.
