Description (Ok, this one was a real head-scratcher.  I looked up realistic takes, and some included winged snakes, but I felt that didn't work.  I looked at Dunsparce again and thought he looked a bit like a sea slug.  I know he's not a Water Pokemon, but he seriously looks more like a slug or invertebrate than a snake.  That's the best I can think of at this time.)

I'm pretty sure you won't be doing the Gigantamax forms when you get to the eighth and (probably) final generation of Pokémon.

Probably not

Why did the creators made it the land snake when it looks more like a wasp?

Yep, wouldn’t have criticized you on however Dunsparce turned out. It’s just one of those whose leaves you guessing as to what it actually is.

Lore wise, it's a Tsuchinoko, a little fat ass snake

It also seems to take inspiration from bees and stuff

Huh, surprised it didn’t end up a Poison-type.

Or at least learn moves like Poison Fang

Also, this thing is the same size as Salamemce, least in the games XD

Yet another reason why the anime gives more believable sizes to Pokémon.

And there's times where they make absurdly large Pokemon

Like that giant Dragonite in the older Indigo League (Imagine if someone caught that thing)

And there were that giant Alakazam, Gengar and Jigglypuff that were from Ancient times and had markings on them

And there was Giant Claydol

The Giant Sunflora that was like 6ft tall (Belonged to a Trainer)

There was giant Anorith Fossil from Diamond and Pearl that Byron has

There was also that giant Magikarp from the Orange Islands

Then there's that giant Krabby Gary has

The list goes on

I was debating whether it was a snake, slug, or an arthropod.

My guess is that it could be any one of those things.

Yeah, I don't think anyone knows exactly what is it.
