I've been thinking of a fight between Lilyena and Proculus. Β He breaks her sword and she stuns him with waterbending. Β She tries to escape to Kaimuaik, but Proculus grabs her and proceeds to force himself on her. Β As he tears her top, Jaugaibee lunges at Proculus and forces her dagger right into his forehead, then kicking his lifeless body into the croc pit.

Proculus also went through a change of personality due to two events, both involving his brother Erebus.
1. He suggested they lighten the load as they're carrying too many slaves while escaping from Theo, and Erebus agrees but throws Proculus off of the cart and leaves him.
2. Erebus' death.

Proculus: We're carrying too much weight! Β We need to dump something!
Erebus: Don't mind if I do, brother.
He shoves Proculus off, and the cart leaves him.

Because of being left to die, combined with his brother's death, Proculus went from joker to sadistic torturer.
