Khardung La is supposed to be one of the highest motorable road in the world, widely claimed to be the highest.Khardung La (la means pass in Tibetan) (elevation 5359 m) is a high mountain pass located in the Ladakh region, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The local pronunciation is "Khardong La" or "Khardzong La," but, as with most names in Ladakh, the romanised spelling varies.
The pass on the Ladakh Range lies north of Leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys. My last submission Nubra Valley by Elite dakoo is from Nubra Valley. Please do take a look.

hmm I'm not so good at looking and assessing b&w photos yet so I am kind of biased to this colored version. I love how the mountain ranges turn into shades of blue as they get farther and farther, giving both depth and color to the shot. The light is also perfect for accentuating the ridges of the mountains. The foreground is a nice inclusion since it is supposed to be a road right? XD all in all i love it!
