Since Goofy showed up in the recent reboot of Ducktales, I really like to think that Glory Bee could be his mom. Seriously, she's the perfect candidate. I know not a lot of people know about her, but again she would be perfect.Β

While Della in the new Ducktales takes tomboyishness up to 11, Glory-Bee certainly seems to be as archetypical a mother as you can get. Not that itβs a bad thing.

I admit, she doesn't seem very developed here. However, personally imagine her much more developed than depicted here. (I'm always thinking about a possible Topolino-comic-based "Mousetales" show and how all those universes and characters are connected. For me, GloryBee might be more a tragic figure. Based on the cartoons, I imagine her as a toon character with human traits, that means she is way more vulnerable and crazy fun adventures would be deadly for her. Goofys eccentric nature might have helped to deal with her anxiety and self-esteem but also let to an, ahem, certain accident... this might then influence the friendship between the famous trio Mickey, Donald and Goofy and the adventures they go on, and so forth... That all doesn't have to make sense to you, I just have a big weird fanfic universe in my head, that I'd like to draw soon)
