Really? o.o I didn't think it was that popular. Hell, I didn't think anyone really shipped them seriously. XD I really don't ship Orsino with anybody, TBH, though I wouldn't say no if he wanted to hit on my Hawke. And I pretty much loathe Meredith sooo.

Yeeaaah. My friends will ship every single hatred or best friend pairing in existence. It annoys me because I'm much more select in my ships, but I just stay quiet and let them carry on their ship-fests since they are my buddies. And yeah, I hate Meredith too xD Even before she went all crazy paranoid I did not like her.

Oh no, are they those "two characters cannot look at one another without wanting to bang each other" types? I mean I'm a pretty terrible shipper myself, but that just drives me crazy. XD Oh well, as long as you can deal with it.
Hee, me too. Probably because she was always kind of a twat to Hawke. Didn't help that I already played my notmage!Hawke as being very pro-mage-freedom, I suppose. :I But after Meredith started being stupid he began freeing every mage he could see out of pure spite.

My Hawke was very bent on pissing her off as well xD He didn't really care much (except when talking to Anders because he felt is was just easier to say 'oh I know its horrible!' than get chewed out for saying 'yeah I dont care' ) till Meredith came into the picture.
And haaaa I just saw your sig xDDD AragornxLegolas is actually one of the very few lotr pairings I could see working. ( LotR-well, more like all of Middle Earth, is my One True Fandom. )

Hah, mine always did, because he's an overprotective big brother and somehow decided that not being all pro-mage-freedom would be a disservice to Bethany, or something like that. Still didn't like Anders though. Admittedly, that was mostly because Anders is preachy and he doesn't get along with Fenris, which my Hawke does. A lot. And then Meredith just made everything worse.
XD Funnily enough, I actually would say Aragorn/Legolas is one of my most shallow ships, since I started liking it for the very deep and meaningful reason of "because they're pretty and I'm shallow, shut up". But after trawling around for some fanfic, I could see it actually making sense. And in the movies at least they are REMARKABLY gay with each other sometimes. It's like they WANT to encourage me. (Can't speak for the books, as I don't recall much of them anyway and from what I do recall Legolas doesn't really do a hell of a lot anyway. But it was a few years ago when I last read 'em.)

Haha yeah its not prominent in the books. I don't outright ship them together, but it makes me giggle sometimes and doesn't fill me with inner-rage like most lotr pairings xD
