“I just want to leave this town and start all over.”

I know that in Monday Night’s episode of Regular Show, Steak Me Amadeus, this didn’t happen; Mordecai wasn’t at a bus stop at all.

Mordecai was sad at the end of the episode, but I drew him at this bus stop for a reason. Mordecai and Margaret were not technically boyfriend and girlfriend since he asked her to be his girlfriend in the episode.

But what would happen if she was his girlfriend and she dumped him? I had an idea of what would happen and this came out in Paint Tool Sai thanks to my tablet and pen. I just see Mordecai at a bus stop, wishing that he would escape all of this drama and heartbreak by running away.

“The ship has sunk” as many people would call it. People who support the Mordecai x Margaret pairing are either pissed off or upset that they were not meant to be just yet in the show. Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is all going to probably be built up into Season 5, which isn’t a bad idea. I actually loved that episode and it was well written. I didn’t even expect the Animatronics to return until the last few seconds before the big reveal. Overall, this was a good episode. Second to Fuzzy Dice in my list of favorite episodes.

But anyway, back to this drawing. The bench says, “Don’t give up, the beginning is always the hardest.” I did this because most benches advertise something and I just had to put a powerful statement there and this drawing means something. That statement and this drawing of Mordecai hunched over, crying, all relates to Steak Me Amadeus.

Think about it: Mordecai was sad at the end of the episode and Rigby was there to be empathetic towards his best friend or his bro. To be denied relationship wise is pretty heartbreaking, and it takes awhile to get over. Mordecai shouldn’t give up because this is only the beginning and yes, it’s hard. The beginning for him is to be upset and impatient until Margaret returns. They were already getting rather close to one another and probably when Margaret comes back from the college of her dreams, her and Mordecai would get back together since they both were compatible with each other. Margaret even admitted that she felt like she was in a really great connection with him and it would work.

Now, that brings us to Margaret and her choices between Mordecai, the love of her dreams or the college of her dreams, where she can start her career. If she chose Mordecai, she would be with him and be happy, but, what about the career that she threw away? The beginning of her life with Mordecai would have been tough because she wouldn’t have been able to earn the degree and start her own career. Her family would not be proud. Mordecai would blame himself for her decision and there are probably more things that would happen. She would have to overcome that decision and overcome events.

She did choose the college over Mordecai. And she was so upset, she ran off crying. You saw how upset she was. She wanted Mordecai. She thought that he was the one. You have to stop and realise that she did mention that guys are “jerks” in Camping Can Be Cool and she has had trouble with some guys in the past. She really liked Mordecai and thought that he was that one guy in her dreams every night. A guy that would treat her right. A guy that would be there through thick and thin. But she chose that college over him. She would have never been able to have another opportunity to get into that college again. College doesn’t work that way.

As she goes off to college she will, of course, think about Mordecai and how sweet he is. But she will feel upset for making Mordecai upset as well. But that is only the beginning for her. The beginning for her is to overcome that and to start her career so she and her family would be proud of her. And more importantly, Mordecai. And when she does get her degree and her career started, her and Mordecai could meet up and officially date!

Yes, it was a tough decision that affected both Mordecai and Margaret, but again, the beginning for the both of them is hard and they should never give up. Be patient. That is the moral point of this drawing.
