I came across a unique occasion in Verona: at the station, the platform next to my own was to host a "special train", which left me puzzled and curious. You can't possibly imagine how surprised and thrilled I was when the train arrived and I found out it was the famous Orient Express, a luxury train that travels across Europe from northern France to Istanbul. It's a famous train on its own, but it was made even more famous by Agatha Christie, who set one of her most successful detective stories aboard it. Many film adaptations were made from the novel Murder On The Orient Express featuring Poirot as the main character.
This is the restaurant car of the train. All services are included on board!
