Description I love this effect, it makes all the difference turning the photo around I think because suddenly you get a picture which you mind doesnt register as seeing a similiar image before. You would never be able to see a tree reflected like this. Also of course it makes it makes the tree the right way up and it becomes a kind of collage I think for this particular area. I enjoy how it's messing around with the peculiarities of the season, here the leaves are falling past the trees as you would see in Autumn. I find this is a refelection of the British climate, it's supposed to be Spring right now yet everything is shrouded in mist. Winter is clinging on.
After i rotated the picture I altered the contrast and brightness to acheive a kind of lucid sky with subtle pinky tones inspired probably by Peter Doigs work, I certainly had "Blotter" and other of his paintings in mind when I was doing it.
