Description
This was drawn for a competition and was my first attempt at digitally enhancing a drawing. I look back ruefully at some of the techniques I used to color it, and wince at some of the errors with perspective and small things, but as a whole it's not too bad
The concept is taken from the anime series Bleach in the episode where Ikkaku releases Bankai against the arrancar Edorad.

I'm just saying. You didn't put the episode number on your info until i said anything. You put it into an art contest but it may as well be plagiarizing because it appears in vol 23 of Bleach by Tite Kubo.
Because you copied it i believe it is not art.

I'm sure I could hunt for various sites that support my argument for the definition of concept too if I tried, we are not going to go anywhere in this argument by trying to prove who can find the most definitions.
And I'm saying that I had thought that the episode number was there already, possibly because I had put it in the description when I first publicly posted this image not on dA. And no it is not plagiarized as the original image in the manga was created using a different medium, that would be like saying that if I painted it in oils , or digitally colored and shaded, or even made a 3d scene it would be plagiarizing.
Your opinion is duly noted, however in that case the majority of painters and sketch artists out there would not be creating art simply because they are copying a scene or photograph, but I think we can both agree that this is not the case.

1. Which medium did you use for the colors
2. The dragon on the center blade turns red, not yellow
3. This is great

heh, I digitally colored it...not that well I might add as it was my first ever digital coloring.
I know the dragon turns red I just thought yellow looked cooler

Sorry for the late reply O_O Um...Its in the episode where Ikakku is fighting Edorad...arranchar, after the bounto arc...so probably in the 120-130 range?
