(Fan-)Drawings for Star Trek: Final Frontier. Trekkies may remember hearing about a new animated trek show similar to "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" that was in the works but ended up being shelved a while back. It's sad, the first story was great and the series definitely deserved to be more fully fleshed out. Can't say that I'm crazy about the look of the new Enterprise, but the universe and characters are very intriguing... it says a lot about the state of the whole franchise. I wish CBS/Paramount would give this project a second chance. Check out their homepage: [link]Anyway, I thought I should give it a try and interpret the characters in my own style. This is an pretty nice FA^^
I personally would love to see some new Trek on TV. Even it's only animated (Paul Dini and Bruce Timm should do it). But then theres the big concern that it will be like Star Wars Clone Wars, wich is not really good (no real adventure only light saber fencing and dull catchphrases). I'm also not very fond of the setting for Final Frontier (too far in the future). I would rather like to have it about 20 years after the end of Voyager.
