If I was a Japanese soldier in combat training. It's like one of my sergeants gave me an order to come to this place by my-self. I come here under the comfort of knowing that this is for training purposes, and that they won't let me die. But at the same time I come here feeling a little nervous because I don't know what challenge awaits me in this place. Neither do I know that sergeant to like me very much. The mist in this forest just adds to my nervousness and slight anxiety. At least that's what this picture feels like to me. If I could read Japanese, I would be saying something different.
Either way, this picture has the feel of being compelled to arrive to this place so as to face a trial or challenge that I may or may not be prepared for.
It looks like this picture was taken in the morning at a park or historic site in Japan.

Wow great shot! I really liked the atmosphere and cold colors, adds a very nice feel to it. Seems like you didn't post-process very much either, which is what I like to see in most photos. Also great job on the perspective.
