I'd like to take this opportunity to say that all my dA SECRET WARS pages are open to coloring for whomever feels the urge.Got sort of experimental on this one. Anyway, all my characters need that moment when they lost their shit for a minute, get it back together, and get up for the fight. It's overcoming one's own weakness that really makes a hero, in my eyes.
That's her meditating, that little yin-yang thing.
Also featured is 's Vigil, who'll get a lot more actual facetime on the next page. Watch this space, more on Vigil later.

Another awesome piece of work!
I gotta be honest, I would hate to see this page coloured as it would distract from your black and white style... also I feel black and white is more suited for the mime for obvious reasons.
I gotta be honest, when I saw that you had chose the Mime for the Secret Wars I was a bit disapointed because of my love of the Fowl character however now I feel she is perfect for this story and looking forward to reading more about her. In short the sidekick is getting her time in the spotlight!

Think she might take issue with you calling her "sidekick", but I appreciate the sentiment. Besides, you'll get all the Fowl you can handle in AFL III, not to mention the regular series.

Man, I love your style more and more with every page I see from you. Those first couple of panels with Mime's face without outlines are great and the meditation bit rules. Very cool final panel with Vigil there too.

Thank you. Vigil's a lot of fun to draw. She's got a very simple design, so there's a lot of ways you can go with her. Guess I'm going more Greco-Roman, here.

This page is spot-on as is. Adding color will most likely subtract from it.
And as far as overcoming one's fears, Empty Suit can relate. Of course, they may cope in different ways. Or as he might say, "Fake it 'til ya make it."

The Mime gets some well deserved solo shots in yet another great page. Nicely executed shots, and a rather ominous-looking Vigil shot to finish it off. Can hardly wait to see your last page for the month, Dan.

You and me both. As for Vigil, I'm playing her as kind of a goddess figure. She's the divine being the team believes in, while the Canadian is the leader they follow. God and country, if you will.

I personally play her as an arrogant, yet well-meaning snob, but that's my point of view. As for the Canadian... Well, I choose to see what has in mind for him...

Oh, she's a TOTAL snob. In the upcoming AFL, I'll really be playing that up. But since I'm telling the Mime's story, not hers, I kind of downplay Vigil's human aspect in favor of her divine quality.

Another great page - as always! Away from the others, a moment of self doubt (understandable considering the situation!) but then a re-affirmation of her strengths.
