Yay, David LeMaye! It was great to draw my favorite Canadian expat again. I never cease to love all those freckles. I like how this came out, with the crosshatching and all. Oh, and ORANGE!Psst, pronounce the title the way the frankyphones do--kebehkwa--or else the alliteration fails
Oh man, my French is deteriorating like wet tissue paper now that I'm not studying it anymore. The Chinese is just DEVOURING it alive. 啊,说实在的,我觉得中文比法语好多了，哈哈哈.

i must admit, i ama huge freckle fan. my best friend has an ungodly number of freckles, and that's how i picked him to attach myself semi permanently to. he apparently picked me because i terrified him on site. thanks bud...

All the different textures in this picture work great together, and I love how he's left uncoloured against the bright background - it makes him the obvious focus of attention and stops the piece from becoming overwhelming. The curls of his hair also look very good.

Having smaller hatching behind the head was a good idea. It definately directs the focus on a piece with minimal color. It also flows nicely with the freckle consentration. Overall enjoyable.
I actually met someone from VT the other day. He used the term "Quebecois" which I had never heard. I wondered if you had...silly me. He also said that when he tells people he's from Vermont, a good portion think it's a province.
