Just a sketch dump I did of my Chus~ It also serves as a sort of reference sheet for colors.A lot of you may not know the female. That's Volt, my first Chu. [link] I drew her a looooong time ago and haven't touched her since. I redesigned her to suit my style instead of drawing her in traditional poke'style. I'll most likely redo her backstory too. I removed her Wide Lens since I'm going to make her a wild pokemon again. Besides, there's only so many over 9000 jokes I can take >> She looked weird without some accessory so I threw a scarf on her since they're my favorite article of clothing (besides glasses if you count those xD)
And I'm sure you all know Vlad, just threw him in as a Pikachu here too since I haven't done that yet xD He's a grumpychu. VladxVolt isn't canon (yet >w>) my bff and I just like to entertain the thought xD Plus drawing them together is good for comparison purposes.
Why no Pichu? Simple. I don't like it. I never have honestly xD idk...something about it's head being un-proportional to its body bothers me...a lot. >~>

I must say I really like the female Raichu. Her design is both unique and very, very cute. Also, I may be bias since Raichu is my fave pokemon, but I think that she looks even better and cuter after evolving from Pikachu to Raichu.
Also, the fact that as a Raichu she's more fit means that she remain flexible and agile and can evade attacks even better despite increased size (after all, Raichu have more speed).

I haven't seen this one yet, great work, I really love your raichu style, I'm trying to develope my own but I always end up drawing it traditionally... almost anyways. lol

I know what you're going through, I had a real tough time breaking away from the traditional style myself, even now I sorta prefer it to my current style which always seems to be changing xD
