Description
The smoke of the battlefield billows all around, now mixing into the clouds above... What is natural and what is destruction become ambigiously intertwined.
From the confusion a sharp sound starts to pierce the air. It becomes louder; shrieking the ears until a cold shiver creeps down the neck. There is no running, for that would only equate to dying tired. Something is coming. It is precise, and it is relentless...

So I present the 3rd in my WarBirds Pegasi...only this time, she's a little different:

Dive Siren is based of the Luftwaffe's Ju 87 Stuka dive bomber, specifically the Ju-87 G. And Siren's got a bit of background:
-Her primary weapons are the twin 37mm gunpods. Each has a 12 round magazine (forgoing the IRL twin 6 round magazines for some extra fun ). These gunpods are attached to a saddle system allowing them to pivot, fold and clip onto her back when out of combat/exhausted ammuntion.
-From here she can utilize her Hoof Bayonets, which are inspired by weapon designs. (Hoping he doesn't mind >_>). Utilizying cloud cover, she can use these for some up close and personal arial surprise attacks.
-She can carry two magazines in the mag pouches strapped to her hind legs. This gives her a totaly of 48 rounds. She probably has some hefty reload times, but due to her role as a hit and run fighter, she wouldn't be found reloading in open combat.
-And of course, what would a Dive Bomber pony be without an actual bomb? Siren can carry a single 250lb bomb attached to the harness system around her chest and belly. I chose the 250lb bomb instead of the more accurate 500lb bomb. Not so much due to the weight of the bomb, (since pegasus magic apparently helps with that), but the size of the bomb would have been awkward.

Now Siren is an interesting character. If I ever get to that comic (I REALLY WANT TO), Siren is going to be fairly nasty. She has adept knowledge of psychological systems and themes specifically revolving around "fear". Not only is she knowledgeable in the subject, but she loves seeing others terrified, in a slightly sadistic sort of way. (She's easily the darkest character I'll probably ever make lol). As such she paints some eye liner/shadow around her eyes to give a more ominous look. AND most importantly, she ties her tail into a spiked bun at the base. Now (deal with me here), somehow the areodynamics of this bun when exposed to high air turbulance/friction creates a sound similar to the ever so memorable Stuka siren sound: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZZ504…

These sirens were intentionally installed on Ju-87s to instill fear. Dive Siren here (hence the name which I'm sure you've gotten by now ), discovered this for herself and now intentionally keeps her tail in this bun knowing of the sound it creates.

Oh and she's a Bat Pony... Thought it would go nicely with the "fear monger" theme

Meanwhile: finals and holiday work schedule ._. Siren was the first design I thought of, yet she's taken me the longest to finish so far. Once class is out for the holiday, I should have some extra time
