Frerard! <3 :3 I love, love, LOVE this pairing! ONE-SHOT. Here we go my first Frank/Gerard ficcie(: PS: May get a bit steamy(; So watch out if you're not into the really hardcore fics.  PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!!

When you're in a band with your best friends, you end up getting really close to them. And that was okay because you're all just buds, right? Well that's what Gerard thought one late night after a gig in San Diego when Frank was itching to take a shower.

"I need to feel human, again." Frank said as he stripped off his sweat-soaked t-shirt and let it drop to the floor.

"Yeah, me too, Frankie," Gerard said, not even making it seem like anything was out of the ordinary. "You uh- mind if I jump in there with you?" He continued, inhaling some smoke from his cigarette-only to have it rejected from his body as he let out a chesty-cough.

"Whoa man, I know the smokes are good but don't be taking it in too much, now." Frank said, concerned about his fellow band mate.

"Yeah..." Gerard trailed off, taking a swig from a Mountain Dew can.

"Oh and I don't mind if you shower with me. The less water the better the planet." Frank smiled and

Gerard rested a hand on his shoulder from behind.
"You're a good guy, Frankie." Gerard said, sounding sarcastic but meaning every word.

"Thanks, man." Frank looked from the corner of his eye at Gerard who seemed to tower above him.
Gerard then stripped off his shirt, shoes and socks and met up with Frankie in the crappy motel bathroom. Mikey and Ray lay on separate beds, watching the "amazing color T.V" that only had about six channels with nothing good on. The two finally settled on some old Western film. Mikey was drifting off into a half sleep as Ray read himself a magazine he found on the bedside table. The television was kept on mute and the room was lit moderately.

Frankie was already in the shower when Gerard came into the bathroom with a towel he previously plucked from the tiny linen closet. Gerard let out a meaningless sigh as he peeled off his practically skin tight black skinny jeans and slid the shower curtain down the rod. The curtain was barely even dangling on when a ring ripped through the curtain and it was left now pitifully hanging by three rings on the rod. Gerard ignored all of this as he stepped in. The shower was small and cramped but since both the men were very close to each other they had no problem with being there. Especially considering it was late and the two of them were exhausted anyway.

"Frank can you hand me the soap, please?" Gerard asked, politely.

Frank grabbed the soap from the ledge and turned, almost handing it to him… but the bar slipped from Frank's hand, landing on the floor of the tub. Both men looked down at it, as if it were to eat their faces. When Gerard looked at Frank, he'd already began applying shitty motel shampoo and the suds began running down his forehead to his eyes. Frank squeezed his eyes shut tight and rinsed them out just as Gerard knelt down to reach for the fallen soap bar. As soon as Gerard stood up, Frank cornered him in on a wall.

"What the hell are you doing?! Get off-" Gerard yelped and Ray in the other room, cocked his head to the side, listening through the wall.

"Psst, Mikey!" Ray tapped on the bassist's bed. "Mikey!" He raised his voice as he chucked the magazine in the other boy's direction where it hit him in the face, awakening him.

"What the fuck, Ray!?" Mikey growled, overreacting (as always).

"Come here...listen..." Ray motioned for Mikey to stand at the wall with him. Mikey dragged himself out of bed and picked up his glasses from the bed where they had fallen when he was rudely awakened.

"What?" Mikey grumbled as Ray put his index finger to his lips and pointed at the wall where Mikey rested an ear.

"Frank!" Gerard yelled as the two crashed to the floor of the tub, Frank straddling the older boy at the waist. Frank's wet hair fell over one eye and stuck to his forehead. Gerard thought about the one time he'd actually had sex with a man a few years back, strictly as an experiment to test his sexuality. He remembered the other man's face as being pale and freckled, his eyes were a light caramel brown and his hair was a dark shade of auburn. Gerard shook the thought away as Frankie smashed his lips onto Gerard's. At first Gerard was going to pull away but the kiss got deeper, more intense and he wanted to keep it going so he slipped his tongue into Frankie's mouth, Frankie now relaxing a bit more onto Gerard's body.

"What...are they doing?" Mikey asked, innocently. Ray rolled his eyes at this question and listened harder, though all he could hear was the sound of water running.

"Hmph..." Ray huffed out, a little disappointed at the lack of audio from the room only through... about 3 foot thick wall. He walked back over to his bed and sat, resting his head on his fist, his elbow on his knee. He greatly resembled the statue 'The Thinker.' Mikey stayed at the wall though, still interested in his older brother and close friend. Gerard pulled away from the kiss, and they both panted. Frank looked all up and down Gerard (well...the parts that weren't covered by his own body) and let out a breath.

"Do you know how long I've wanted this?" Frank asked, reeling Gerard back into reality. Mikey's eyes widened at this.

"Frank, I love you. I want you. But we can't be together. For the sake of the band, for the sake of Mikey! And Ray! Oh God..." Gerard trailed off as Frank pulled himself away and sat against the wall of the tub.

"They don't need to know, Gee." God, Gerard thought, he really knows how to make me…fall all over him, doesn't he!?

Gerard sighed and spoke up again, "Frank," he started sternly, "I want...you to make love to me. I don't want to have sex. I want to make love." He emphasized. Mikey just about had to pick his jaw up of the floor when he heard this. He quietly walked back to the bed and sat on the edge without even acknowledging Ray's presence.

"They're going to fuck, aren't they?" Ray asked keeping his eyes on the magazine which he retrieved from Mikey's bed. Mikey absent mindedly shook his head out of disbelief. Ray nonchalantly flipped a page of the magazine.

"I knew it." Mikey slowly turned to gaze at Ray who didn't even look up.

"...But not here, not now..." Gerard finished.

"I understand, Gee." Frank said, smiling softly as the water began to turn cooler. Both men shivered at the change in temperature.

"Well, I'm done with my shower, aren't you?" Gerard asked, standing and stepping out, grabbing his towel.

"Yeah..." Frank said as he reached down to turn off the faucet, then getting out and drying off as well. "Gee," he said, getting Gerard's attention.

"Yeah?" He started to turn when he felt Frankie's lips on his own. Gerard enjoyed it but pulled away, keeping Frank close and whispering "Frank, I love you." Frank smiled and replied, "Love you, too, Gee. You know I do."

The two made their way from the bathroom, towels wrapped around their waists, keeping to themselves.

"So how was the shower?" Ray asked, suspiciously.  Mikey rolled his eyes, not wanting to hear the answer.

"Fine." Gerard answered- perhaps a little too quickly.

"Oh yeah? Hope nobody dropped the soap." He shot back, winking at Mikey.
Frank looked at Gerard, shocked. Shit. He knows.
