D'aaaw stupid lil Doctor. On the record. Bow ties aren't cool. Waaah I can't use my writin' tablet because it's broke. Now I have to photo copy every thing! WAAAAAAH!

The Doctor can make anything he wears look cool - even the technicolor nightmare or the abhorrent question mark jumpers. a bowtie is no challenge XD
What is true is that the Doctor's love for bowties didn't start when he crashed into Amy's house... see Two's costume. Oh, and Six occassionally wore a very large, very collorful one XD

Haha Koschei planted the seeds of "uncoolness"! I love it. I bet if he complimented anything, Theta would go around wearing it. This might explain some of the Doctor's outfits, actually... Now we know where long hair, absurdly tall hats, frilly pirate shirts, long scarves, cricket uniforms, rainbow suits, and question-marked jumpers came from.
