I remember seeing the cloaked character of Nom Anor in a star wars comic ages ago and thinking "god thats quite scary, it looks as if he's looking straight at you!", the image being so striking that i eventually decided to draw it. years later i dug out the original pencil drawing and thought it would be a good idea to redo it, but this time using paints as they would take advantage of the striking use of blacks and dark shades used in the original. so here it is

Very creepy and ominous, yet cool! I won't say Nom Anor is cooler than Darth Vader, but that's just a matter of opinion and/or perspective. Yes, I remember that same comic book where Nom Anor first appeared. I believe it was Crimson Empire II: Council of Blood. Still, this is like Darth Vader, only his face is obscured by a hood.

with Nom Anor i think he gave a more intimidating presence because the fear of the unknown....you never really knew what his agenda was, which made him unpredictable. One of my fave Star Wars villains i think anyway ^^
