Taken the morning after 2 days of rain the clouds started to lift and a wee bit of glow was had.

Love the reflection of the mountains in the lake. How could it have gotten that smooth? Wildlife in the area not morning creatures?

ahha lake louise is a tourist lake.. not a wildlife lake.. to much stuff around.. tho at the back of the lake there is lots of bears..

It really is an awesome and relaxing place, specially in the morning. It is VERY touristy so its always nice to go there at sunrise that way you dont have loud giggling and kids running around to distract from the epic awesomeness..
Apparently many many years ago, people used to almost whisper and everything would be super quiet here because it was a very expensive place to go, so only mature adults would be able to visit. now its more affordable and now everyone is here with their kids and dogs
Next time i make it out there im going to do the hikes around and make it to a couple of the smaller lakes on the mountain to the right.

I know this "tourist and nice places" problem well -.-
Being the very early or late is a good solution,
the light is better anyway
Hopefully I'll see this place with my own eyes

Such beautiful blue colours in the water and in the lifting clouds, everything looks so clean and crisp. I also like the red kayak in the background as it contrasts all the natural colours very nicely without being overly distracting from the beautiful scene.

thanx adamsauce, it sure was chilly that morning. when we first got there, there was lots of clouds but they raised soo nicely, it was beautiful.
