I like the shot. I agree that the front seems somewhat noisy with objects (rocks, trees, riffles from the water) but have you though of darkening some of that area to accentuate the background?

Haha...It doesn't remind me of Ansel Adams, but in a good way. I don't know how to really quantify it, but his photos tend to be more minimalist and this photo is very rich in composition and in texture. I love it. What don't you like about the foreground? It works very well with the rest of the image!

i was thinking it may look to cluttered and the tree at the bottom on the left is soo white it almost blends in too much with whats behind it.
