Even if you consider it a fail, I think it still turned out very well. Sharpening could be pulled down a little, but not much. I must go here before I die. {sigh}

The sharpening looks great! I'm still trying to get my photo to be as tack sharp in camera as possible but of course have to sharpen in pp. I use the mirror lockup, cable release and all that jazz at the time but have a bit of trouble sharpening after. I have Nik Pro Sharpener and DNoise I use quite frequently but sometimes I feel like PS Smart Sharpen works wonders. May I ask what sharpening method you used?

Thank you Danielle! That was pretty simple to use. The halos and overly contrasty edges are always a problem for me but you're right, masking some of those problem areas out can help a ton! Do you upload at 72 ppi?
