Have fired its sister engine Witherslack Hall when it came to ELR on a visit. That was a lovely machine so would imagine that this would be the same.

I don't mean to ruin everything, but it looks like one of those trains from Thomas the Tank Engine. At least, model and colour are the same

That was kind of the point of Thomas. All the characters were all based on real British locomitives beacuse ReverandΒ Wilbert Vere AwdryΒ who wrote the original story was a railway enthusiast. I'd say that you would find very few steam railway enthusiasts that do not have a fondness for Thomas the Tank Engine. I certainly still love the show, I have great memories of watching the original show so it's an important part of my childhood.
