Hardwick Warbirds have sold Marinell, with her having already left for a new home in Italy or preparing to leave soon. So with the loss of Janie too, I suspect that if he is able to return to flying again, it will not be in high performance warbirds. 

The loss of Janie along with the life of the passenger on this fated flight is indeed a tragedy, but in these situations you just have to be grateful for anything positive, so it's great to hear that Maurice Hammond's recovery seems to be progressing well. The loss of his presence on the airshow circuit will certainly be felt, if indeed he does not return. His Mustang pairs routines were always the highlight of any event and he was always so generous with allowing access to his aircraft at events, to which the images below are testament. Standing next to them at such close quarters really does bring home what magnificent work he did bringing them both back to flight.
