This is bloody marvellous. There is something a little different in your recent images, can't say what it is precisely but its good so keep on doing what your doing.

When circumstances change, you adapt. I guess the change in shooting location at Duxford and the more distant flying has inevitably has changed how I approached shooting the show. Of course Legends had always been different from shooting most shows. With so much happening all at the same time and of course with TFC traditionally flying in a rather spirited way, shooting the show is much more of a task. You have to accept that pin sharp images of aircraft flying left to right or visa versa are out, and formations/set pieces and dynamic type images replace them. So I tend to end up with much more sky in my Legends images and much more use of the airfield itself. Taxing, Statics and aircraft flying against the rolling hills etc.

I've never understood, why does that one model have clipped wings?

It is actually a authentic wartime modification which was first implemented to counter the threat of the FW-190. The clipped wing gave the Spitfire a significant increase in roll rate. Most of the significant variants of the Spitfire after the Mk.V had a clipped wing variant.
